Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.zoneofwar.com, app.zoneofwar.com and the ZoneOfWar drone cyber range platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Cyber Security Finland Oy ("ZoneOfWar", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your account. Organization administrators are responsible for the conduct of users within their organization's workspace.

2. Authorized use only

The Service is intended for authorized cybersecurity education, research, product security and resilience testing. You agree to use missions, labs and any tools provided only within the isolated environments ZoneOfWar provides, and never to apply techniques learned on the platform against systems you do not own or are not explicitly authorized to test. See our Acceptable Use Policy andResponsible Use principles for details.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed according to the plan selected at checkout or in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in your order form. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

4. Intellectual property

ZoneOfWar and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including mission content, scoring methodology and platform software. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal training and evaluation purposes.

5. Customer content

If your organization submits custom mission content, scenarios or data to the platform, you retain ownership of that content and grant us a license to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service, including specific missions, with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Training outcomes, scores and skill validations reflect performance within ZoneOfWar's simulated environments and do not constitute a guarantee of real-world security outcomes, employment outcomes, or professional certification recognized by any third party unless explicitly stated.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZoneOfWar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, particularly any attempt to use ZoneOfWar training against systems without authorization.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
